Stephanie Saperstein Named Hall Of Fame Rider For April
Tampa, FL, USA
The month of April proved to offer a lot of great competition for the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series, as the race for top spots in the standings intensified. With Cavalor's support, the Series honors one rider each month as the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series Rider of the Month. The honor goes to the one rider who earns the most points on one horse in Series competition each month. With 150 points earned in the month of April aboard her mount El Sueno's Papaikou, Stephanie Saperstein of Simi Valley, CA, was named as Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month. Stephanie competes in the Series' West Conference amateur-owner division, and was victorious with El Sueno's Papaikou during the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series class held at the Blenheim Spring Classic II, in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The win was especially impressive, as it was the first Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classis Series class that the pair competed in during the 2009 season. "We are very excited to honor Stephanie as our April Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month," said Philippe Collard, President of Cavalor, Inc. "With competition heating up as the summer approaches, we are very excited to see who will join Stephanie in the ranks of becoming Rider of the Month in the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series." The Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series saw competition at eight events during the month of April, and will see classes at more than 100 horse shows before the Series culminates in the Year-End Championships at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament featuring the 126th National Horse Show in Syracuse, NY, in October. The Series hosts separate divisions for junior and amateur-owner riders in two Conferences-the East Conference and the West Conference. Series standings are used to help determine junior and amateur-owner entries for the National Horse Show. In the overall standings through April, Marley Goodman and U-2 led the amateur-owner standings in the East Conference while Reed Kessler and Ice D'Ancoeur led in the junior division. In the West, Hannah Selleck led in the amateur-owner division while Navona Gallegos led in the junior division. | ||
